ODESSA - An accident early Sunday morning left one person dead and another injured.
The accident happened on Highway 191, west of Midland, around 2:30 a.m.
DPS Troopers tell NewsWest 9, a 1995 Chevrolet Blazer was traveling east on Highway 191 when the vehicle traveled off the roadway and into the center median. The vehicle then went into a side skid and overturned.
Two people inside the vehicle were ejected during the accident.
Officials say 22-year-old Luis Escarcega-Brito died on the scene. The second person, 26-year-old Benjamin Edward Garcia, was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital.
Garcia's condition is unknown at this time.
