RUIDOSO, N.M. — After the devastating wildfires that killed at least two people in June, the Village of Ruidoso is back open and ready to welcome visitors.
According to a Facebook post, while Alto Lake is closed indefinitely, Grindstone Lake and all Village Parks remain open.
"Enjoy a vibrant local scene with most shops, restaurants, live music venues, wine bars, brewpubs, and attractions open and eager to welcome you," the Facebook post said.
It was also recently announced that a lightning strike was the cause of the South Fork Fire while the Salt Fire cause is still under investigation.
