MONAHANS, Texas — According to the Ward Memorial Hospital, they've started fencing off the east side of the hospital to prep for Phase I of their renovations.
The renovations are going to be on the Medical/Surgical floor and will take about 580 days to complete.
"This is phase one of our big master plan," Ward County Hospital CEO Leticia Rodriguez said. "After this is completed, phase two is to build a new clinic."
Phase I has a price tag of $13 million.
The hospital said they apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but have taken extra steps to ensure the typical patient care is not disrupted.
