ANDREWS COUNTY, Texas — A woman has died after an early morning crash in Andrews County, according to the Texas Department of Safety.
According to a report, the crash happened on Wednesday at about 3:40 a.m. at SH 176 Post 276.
A Mack CXU driven by 53-year-old Catherine Ann Koonsman was driving eastbound on SH 176 and attempted to make a U-turn.
As Koonsman was making the U-turn, a Freightliner Coronado driven by 38-year-old Manuel Hernandez crashed into Koonsman in the westbound lane of SH 176.
Koonsman was pronounced dead at the scene. Hernandez sustained serious injuries.
