ODESSA, Texas — Nearly nine months out of the year, school's provide lunch for kids and adjust the price for families facing financial struggles.
When Summer rolls around that can mean some empty bellies for families that just aren't able to provide what they need to.
West Texas Food Bank Director of Marketing Craig Stoker is excited to expand the program in 2019.
"We are excited to offer the summer food service program at 13 sites this summer, including a new feeding site at the Eighty-Seventh Apartments," said Stoker.
The FoodBank will also be returning to the Downtown Midland Library and partnering with the Ellen Noel Art Museum to provide activities for the kids who grab a lunch.
