ANDREWS, TX (KWES) - Odessa Police SWAT Team and OPD Narcotics Unit aided in executing several high-risk warrants in Andrews city and county.
These warrants were part of a greater operation called Silent Night, a drug warrant round-up that occurred Wednesday.
The Andrews Police Department and Sheriff’s Office are looking for 47 suspects involved in this two-year undercover operation, which resulted in 90 drug related indictments and 47 arrest warrants.
Police have already arrested more than 19 people involved.
Those arrested early Wednesday included: Efren Madrid, Sergio Blanco, Miriam Alaniz, Graci Ochoa, Geanie Garner, Luis Lopez, Patrick Rimer, Aaron Carrasco, Yazmin Iniguiz, Brandon Carruth, Duane Larue, Bobby Hyde, Rickey Watson, Eric Hernandez and Vicki Macias.
There are still 28 warrants remaining, and more arrests are expected as police continue their investigation.
