MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - Midland Rape Crisis and Children's Advocacy Center will host two new adult support groups for survivors of sexual assault, incest, & childhood sexual abuse in the Fall.
The male-only class, Male Survivors' Support Group, will offer a safe space for survivors to both grow and find support as they travel through their journey of healing. This will be a closed group with a limited number of participants accepted. A private entrance will be provided.
The female class, Thirve is designed to help women who battle the effects of sexual assault through providing a place to share where respect is given to each other and confidentiality is highly regarded, beginning September 10.
It is an open group and allows members to join throughout the duration of the group.
