WASHINGTON — Halloween is a time for costumes, frights and of course, treats.
Alongside the copious amounts of candy that will be handed out this year on Oct. 31, some popular food chains have decided to get in on the holiday fun, offering seasonal promotions for the spookiest day of the year.
Here are some of the best Halloween deals for 2024:
Baskin-Robbins
Ice cream fans can get a 31% discount on scoops by stopping in at any shop on Halloween. The promo can also be applied to scoops of ice cream ordered for pickup through the Baskin-Robbins app: use the promo code 31SCOOPS to apply the discount.
Chipotle
Any Chipotle Rewards member who shows up in costume at a participating store can receive their entree for $6 by scanning their app when paying for the food. The deal begins at 3 p.m. local time on Oct. 31 and runs until restaurants close for the night.
IHOP
The International House of Pancakes is offering free "Scary Face Pancakes" to kids under 12 through Halloween night, with the purchase of an adult entree. The deal is available from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and is available for dine-in orders only.
Johnny Rockets
Johnny Rockets is putting the treat in trick-or-treat for Halloween, allowing any customer to get a free cookie with any purchase. Just mention the free cookie promotion when ordering any food.
Krispy Kreme
The donut chain is offering four Ghostbusters-inspired snacks to celebrate the spooky season. Thirsty customers can also purchase Slimer's Slime-ade, a lemonade slushie colored to look like the iconic movie ghost. Customers who show up in costume on Halloween can also get a free glazed donut, with no purchase necessary.
McDonald's
The most prolific fast food chain in the world is celebrating Halloween with a touch of nostalgia. McDonald's has brought back Boo! Buckets for Happy Meals, featuring four different monster designs this year. The buckets are available by request and only while supplies last.
QDOBA
Customers can take advantage of the chain's "BOOGO" promotion on Halloween. With the purchase of one entree and a drink, any rewards member can get a second entree for free. The deal is available in store, online and through the QDOBA app.
Wendy's
Customers at participating Wendy's locations can get one of the chain's Boo! Bags. The Halloween-themed bag comes with a Dave's Single burger, a small Hot & Crispy Fry, a small chocolate Frosty, a glow-in-the-dark Bone Chiller Frosty figure and a "Boo! Book" containing coupons for future visits.
