ODESSA - Odessa Police are investigating after responding to a medical call on Friday afternoon.
Odessa Police tell NewsWest 9, they were called out to the 1500 block of Patton, just after 3 p.m.
Officials say that when they arrived on the scene, they found 72-year-old Patricia Riggs dead in the backyard of the home.
The Ector County Medical Examiner's Office as well as the Crimes Against Persons and Robbery/Homicide Unit were called to the home.
We're told that the body will be sent to Tarrant County for an autopsy.
