BIG SPRING - For members at Trinity Baptist Church, seeing the newly built version came at a big surprise.
"This is real pretty, it suits our needs a lot of room and I hope we fill it," Church Member, Shaun Moses said.
"It's a great one; the best one I've seen in Big Spring," Church Member, Alvin Moses said.
It took about two years to renovate what used to be an old K-Mart store and turn it into a new Church building.
"We were running short of room. Plus everything we had was scattered into five buildings. Now we got everything under one roof. It's a better location," Pastor Randy Cotton said.
Pastor Cotton says they had to expand the Church because of the fast growing congregation. Every Sunday, they have about 500 people attend service, and now with this new building they can fit about 900 people.
