PYOTE - The old West Texas State School in Pyote could soon house illegal immigrants.
The facility has been vacant for the past five years.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency is currently looking for locations to house the immigrants and the facility met all the requirements to be a detention facility.
Una Voz Unida, a non-profit group in Odessa, reached out to FEMA suggesting the location.
