KERMIT - A Kermit family is dealing with a devastating loss.
Police tell NewsWest 9, a one-year-old girl died after she was run over on Thursday night and it was all a tragic accident.
Police say a 17-year-old family member was leaving the driveway of a Kermit home in the 600 block of north Ash around 5:30 p.m.
That's when the little girl ran in front of the suburban and got hit.
Her name hasn't been released.
