MIDLAND, Texas — Robin Poole, who sits on Midland City Council in one of the at-large seats, is seeking re-election, according to a press release sent to NewsWest 9 on Wednesday.
Poole is born in Midland and said in the press release that she is committed to meeting the city's immediate needs and not the city's wants.
"Serving Midland has been one of the greatest honors," Poole said in the press release. "While significant progress has been made, there is still work to be done. Our community needs strong, experienced leadership to uphold our community's conservative principles and ensure our city remains a great place to live, work, and raise a family."
Poole said in the press release that she has a track record for fighting for "our conservative values," and aims to continue bringing about positive change for her community.
