MIDLAND, Texas — Election Day is in the rearview mirror and we have unofficial results!

In Midland County, based on unofficial final results, Bryan Murry beat Joshua Guinn 2,222 votes to 1,783 votes, receiving 55% of the vote. Murry would serve on the MISD Board as Trustee 7.

MISD's bond Proposition A for school expansion and upgrades was passed 12,404 votes to 9,699 votes, getting 56% of the votes. The bond totals $1.4 billion and would build two new high schools, a new elementary school and provide improvements and upgrades district wide.

Both Greenwood ISD Props A and B passed. Prop A won with 72% of the vote with 1,383 votes for. This prop includes two new campuses and improvements to the high school and elementary schools. Prop B won with 62% of the vote with 1,185 votes for. This prop will provide for a new event center, featuring an auditorium and gymnasium.

In Ector County, only one of the three school bonds passed. 

Prop A, which would include a new career and technical education center, a new middle school, new buses, the construction of a new transportation facility and district-wide upgrades, passed with 57% votes for. There were 5,557 votes for and 4,222 votes against.

Prop B and C narrowly lost however. Prop B, which would focus specifically on upgrades to Ratliff Stadium, had 52% of voters say no. 4,670 people voted for while 5,072 voted against. 

Prop C, which would build a new practice facility at Odessa High School and install new turf to the existing indoor practice facility at Permian High, lost 4,465 votes for to 5,269 votes against. 54% of voters voted no.
