37-year-old Cruz Esteban Sanchez

Odessa Police arrested Sanchez on 4-2-15 at approximately 0152 hours for Possession of Cocaine, a State Jail Felony. Officers conducted a subject stop on a male subject walking in the roadway of the 200 block of East Mable when a sidewalk was provided. Officers searched Sanchez and discovered cocaine inside his front right pocket.

Officers also located two crack rocks on the ground where Sanchez had been standing. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Sanchez was charged and arrested accordingly and transported to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.

51-year-old Florencio Munoz & 44-year-old Alma Moreno

Odessa Police arrested Munoz on 4-2-15 at approximately 1100 hours for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle (Warrant - Gone Off Bond) "State Jail Felony" and Possession of Marijuana "Class B Misdemeanor". Odessa Police also arrested Moreno for Forgery, a State Jail Felony.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on a silver Toyota Siena in the 900 block of South Jackson. A traffic stop was conducted on the listed vehicle and the driver was identified as Munoz. Officers observed a bag of marijuana on the floorboard in plain view. Dispatch advised Munoz had a felony warrant out of Midland County.

Munoz was charged and arrested accordingly. While officers were conducting the traffic stop, they observed a female subject matching the description of a forgery suspect. The female subject, identified as Moreno, was transported to OPD to be interviewed by detectives. A warrant was obtained and Moreno was charged and arrested accordingly.

35-year-old Trevor Penn

Odessa Police arrested Penn on 4-3-15 at approximately 1611 hours for Possession of Heroin "State Jail Felony" and Driving While Intoxicated "Class B Misdemeanor". Officers responded to the 4000 block of Maple in reference to a male subject who was passed out in a silver 2009 Toyota Corolla.

Upon arrival, officers observed a male subject who was unresponsive and operating a silver Corolla. The driver of the listed vehicle, identified as Penn, was placed into custody for driving while intoxicated after failing field sobriety tests. Officers searched the listed vehicle and discovered a black tar like substance in the driver's door.

The substance tested positive for heroin. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Penn was charged and arrested accordingly and transported to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center. The heroin was turned into Criminalistics as evidence.

37-year-old Christopher Rodriguez

Odessa Police arrested Rodriguez on 4-3-15 at approximately 1005 hours for Possession of Cocaine, a State Jail Felony. Officers observed a blue Chrysler 200 speeding while traveling northbound on Dixie. A traffic stop was conducted at Standard and Murphy. The driver removed himself from the vehicle and identified himself as Rodriguez.
