BIG SPRING, TX (KWES) - Scenic Mountain Medical Center is reporting the facility is running on backup power as of 8 p.m. March 14.
According to the center, a generator is providing power for all vital services after a power outage caused by a transformer malfunction.
The emergency room is open and accepting patients through Thursday night.
The center says all operations and business will continue as normal on Friday.
