MIDLAND - A Texas size tailgate was held in Midland on Sunday afternoon to help bring in money for the city's parks.
The Midland Parks and Recreation Board held the tailgate at Grande Communications Stadium and it included a Chili and barbecue cook off.
The board hosted the event to bring awareness about their 20 by 20 campaign to raise money for their endowment fund.
The Parks and Recreation Committee says the money will fund park maintenance.
