REAGAN COUNTY - Two threatening notes in one week at Reagan County Elementary School in Big Lake have left parents asking questions.
The first one was found on Tuesday and according to a press release, it contained non-specific threats against the school.
An employee discovered the second note in a classroom that also had non-specific threats against the school.
Police were notified both times.
After investigating, authorities didn't find any immediate threat but school officials did keep their eyes out for any unordinary behavior.
"I think they are taking it step by step first because they don't want to get anybody scared because everybody knows about it everybody will be taking their kids out. The people doing it could be the people out here, you never know they could be parked and waiting for all of the kids to come out and it could be worse," One concerned family member in Big Lake told NewsWest 9.
