According to the University of Texas Permian Basin, all Falcon football games and tailgating spots this season will be free to the community.
The decision comes in the wake of the Falcon's historic 2023 season as Lone Star Conference champions and in celebration of UTPB's 50th anniversary.
Tailgating in the parking lot at both Ratliff and Astound stadiums is open to all. Just show up, pick a spot, bring friends, coolers, and game day food.
The tailgate setup will begin at noon on a first-come, first-serve basis.
There will be activities for future Falcons with a DJ and food trucks. There will be performances by UTPB cheer, dance team, and the marching band.

Kick-off is at 6:00pm for all games
• Saturday, August 31 at Ratliff Stadium vs. Western New Mexico
• Saturday, September 14 at Astound Stadium vs. Adam State
• Saturday, September 21 at Astound Stadium vs. A&M Kingsville
• Saturday, October 5 at Astound Stadium vs. Angelo State
• Saturday, October 19 at Astound Stadium vs. Western Oregon
