Midland native and Midland High product Bryce Hoppel returned to the Olympic stage in Paris on Friday morning.
Hoppel will represent Team USA in the Men's 800-meter final on Saturday with his second place finish and time of 1:43.41 in the semifinals Heat Three. The MHS grad will have a chance to win his first-ever Olympic medal.
The Tall City kid set a personal best time of 1:42.77 back in the U.S. Olympic Trials in June.
