EUGENE, Ore. — Midland native and Midland High product Bryce Hoppel is off to Paris to compete with Team USA in the Olympics in late July!
Competing in the 800-meter final in the Olympic Team Trials in Eugene, Oregon, Hoppel finished in first place with a score of 1:42:77.
His time has beaten a U.S. Olympic Trials record that was set back in 1992.
This will be the second time the Midland High product is heading to the Olympics.
