ODESSA, TX (KWES) - The City of Odessa is providing citizens the chance to drop off their bulky unwanted items legally and for free.
A bulk item drop-off center has been established at the city's recycling center on 814 West 42nd Street.
Items can be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays.

The city hopes the drop-off center will help keep Odessa clean and safe. Illegally dumped bulky items are dangerous and unsightly and if placed by dumpsters can prevent trucks from emptying these containers.
Items accepted include mattresses, furniture, electronics and more. To see a full list of accepted items you can click here.
