A grown man was thrown in jail after he fooled a town into thinking he was a teenager with superstar talents.
Now, Guerdwich Montimere was released on Monday from an East Texas prison.
His story made national headlines two years ago.
Montimere enrolled at Permian High School as a 16-year-old playing for the basketball team.
But in reality, he was a 21-year-old man living a lie.
He was caught and convicted for sleeping with a 16-year-old girl and creating fake documents to enroll in school.
He was sentenced to two years in prison.
