(KWES) - Hurricane Irma makes a second landfall along the Florida coast this afternoon.
At 3:35 p.m. EDT Sunday, Hurricane Irma made landfall at Marco Island, Florida on the southwest side of the state as a Category 3 hurricane, according to the National Hurricane Center.
According to the NHC, Irma remains a Category 3 storm this afternoon with wind speeds of 115 mph while moving north along the west coast of Florida.
