ECTOR COUNTY, TX (KWES) - A Kermit man is dead following a car-pedestrian accident in Ector County.
The accident happened late Monday night on State Highway 302, about 9 miles west of Odessa.
DPS Troopers tell NewsWest 9, a 2015 Chevrolet 2500, driven by Jimmy Bray, 64, of Kermit, was traveling west on Highway 302 when a pedestrian walked into the road from the center median.
The pedestrian, Said Escudero, 42, of Kermit, was hit by the vehicle and died at the scene.
