BIG SPRING, TX (KWES) - Big Spring detectives have arrested three suspects surrounding the theft and burglary of the Higginbotham Bartlett hardware store.
The crime occurred on April 12 at approximately 1:40 a.m. Fifteen firearms were stolen from the premises.
The Big Spring Police Department Criminal Investigation Division arrested Mikeal Ladarrean Chavera, 21 on May 8 for this offense. Peter Manual Candelaria, 30 was also arrested for this offense on May 9.
Detectives have also arrested Kendrick Dashaun Harris, 23 in connection with the case. The detectives also seized several drugs, a pistol, and over $5,000.
The Big Spring Police Department has reportedly recovered 7 of the stolen firearms just after 8:00 a.m. on the 2600 block of Dow on Friday, May 11. The investigation is still ongoing.
