ODESSA, TX (KWES) - Odessa Police arrested Jonathan Taylor Jojola, 38, for Assault on a Public Servant "3rd Degree Felony" and Public Intoxication "Class C Misdemeanor" Wednesday afternoon.
Officers were Pojo's Restaurant in reference to a fight, where they found Jojola, a suspect in multiple assaults.
According to police, Jojola was intoxicated and placed into custody for public intoxication, but while placing him into a patrol unit, he head-butted an OPD officer in the jaw.
The OPD officer sustained bodily injury as a result of the assault, Jojola was charged and arrested accordingly and transported to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.
