Teenager Shot, Killed in Hobbs, New Mexico

A Hobbs teenager was shot in the head and killed on Sunday. The Lea County Sheriff's Office was called out to a home in the 700 block of West Martin on Sunday afternoon for a shooting. When they got there, they found 19-year-old Michael Burns dead.

HOBBS, N.M. - A Hobbs teenager was shot in the head and killed on Sunday.

The Lea County Sheriff's Office was called out to a home in the 700 block of West Martin on Sunday afternoon for a shooting.

When they got there, they found 19-year-old Michael Burns dead.

Officers interviewed several people that were inside of the home during the shooting.

Right now, officers aren't able to provide any more details on what led up to the shooting.
