REEVES COUNTY – One man is back behind bars after being caught in Reeves County on Thursday.
The Reeves County Sheriff's Office tells NewsWest 9 that they, along with the Pecos Police Department, arrested Randy Lopez in Balmorhea.
We're told that Lopez was wanted for felony warrants out of Portales in Roosevelt County, New Mexico, for failure to appear on felon in possession of a firearm.
Lopez attempted to run from officials by leaving his home and dropped off his vehicle at his father's house.
Reeves County Sheriff Arturo Granado later received information on Lopez's location and was arrested after attempting to resist arrest.
