MIDLAND, Texas — A train collided with an 18-wheeler on Monday night in Midland, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
It happened at the intersection of Hwy 80 and South County Road 1250.
The 18-wheeler was carrying frozen food when it was hit by a Union Pacific train, scattering frozen pizzas along the tracks and roadway.
The Midland Fire Department, Midland County Sheriff's Office, Texas Department of Public Safety and Union Pacific were on scene.
DPS has reported no injuries as a result of the crash.
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area as crews are working to clear the roadway and track throughout the night.
