ECTOR COUNTY, Texas — DPS is investigating a four-vehicle crash that killed three people just after 7 a.m. Tuesday in Ector County.
According to the crash report, Marlene Olivas, 25, was driving a GMC Terrain south on FM 181. A 9 month old identified as Magdaly Olivas was a passenger in the car.
Three other vehicles were traveling north on FM 181 at the same time.
DPS said Olivas' vehicle crossed the center stripe and began driving on the wrong side of the road.
The SUV sideswiped two vehicles before hitting a truck driven but Glenn Juarez, 30, head-on.
Odessa Fire and EMS responded to the scene.
Both Marlene and Magdaly were pronounced dead at the scene, as well as Juarez who was from El Paso.
None of the other drivers or passengers were injured.
According to the DPS crash report, Juarez and Marlene Olivas were not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
No other information is available at this time.
