ECTOR COUNTY, Texas — DPS is investigating a deadly crash that closed off a portion of south East Loop 338 around 7 p.m. Wednesday.
According to DPS, Wendy Bryan, 40, from Crane was driving a Nissan Sentra south on Loop 338.
An Odessa man was driving a truck-tractor towing a semi-trailer north on Loop 338.
DPS reports Bryan entered the northbound lane and struck the semi-truck head-on.
Bryan was pronounced dead at the scene. It is unknown if she was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The driver of the semi-truck was taken to Medical Center Hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.
