MARTIN COUNTY, Texas — (Editor's note: DPS reported earlier that the vehicle had been found in Odessa. This has since been corrected and the article has been updated accordingly.)
UPDATE: DPS is reporting that the vehicle involved in Monday's deadly hit and run was located in Martin County near Tarzan.
Authorities say it was an 18 wheeler truck tractor towing a sand trailer.
The driver has been identified and the company that owns the truck is reportedly cooperating with the investigation.
DPS has not released the suspect's name at this time and no further information is available. They also thanked the community for their help.

DPS and Crime Stoppers are asking for help locating a suspect in a deadly hit and run crash Monday.
The crash took place around 12:45 p.m. on SH 176 in Martin County.
According to DPS, a 2009 Yellow Honda motorcycle was struck from behind by another vehicle.
The vehicle was believed to be a truck tractor with a trailer or other large commercial vehicle like an 18 wheeler.
At this time no other information is available about the crash, including the identity of the victim.

DPS included a picture of the motorcycle involved in the crash.
