ODESSA, Texas — The Odessa Police Department is investigating an accident that happened on Jun. 6, after responding to a call at 9:24 a.m.
Upon arrival on 191 and Billy Hext, the Odessa Police Department and the Odessa Fire Rescue discovered that 35-year-old John Baker had crashed a 2019 Harley Davidson motorcycle he operated after striking a curb.
The crash which happened while Baker was traveling westbound on Highway 191 and exiting Billy Hext, left the bike near the front end of Crossroads Church.
Baker was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Odessa police believe that speed may have been a possible factor.
The investigation is ongoing.
