ODESSA, Texas — The Odessa Police Department has identified the person killed in a Friday night crash on 42nd Street and Tanglewood Lane.
According to OPD, officers, as well as firefighters with Odessa Fire Rescue, responded to the scene.
Investigation revealed that a white 2021 Tesla Model 3, driven by 21-year-old Zachary Rosier, was traveling eastbound on 42nd.
Meanwhile, a white 2015 GMC Acadia was turning south onto Tanglewood from 42nd.
The cars wrecked in the intersection before the Tesla hit a traffic signal pole.
The driver of the Acadia, who the department did not identify, was treated and released at the scene.
Rosier was taken to Medical Center Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Next of kin have been notified.
