ODESSA, Texas — One person is dead and another is injured following a two-vehicle crash in Ector County.
DPS reports Ted Wesson, 33, was driving south on State Loop 338 at around midnight on June 15.
A truck was also driving southbound on Loop 338 at the University overpass behind Wesson.
According to DPS, Wesson reportedly attempted to make a u-turn on the overpass and was struck by the truck.
Wesson was pronounced dead at the scene, while his passenger was taken to Medical Center Hospital with incapacitating injuries. The driver of the car was not injured.
DPS says none of the parties involved in the crash were wearing seat belts.
This incident is still under investigation and no further information is available.
