ODESSA, Texas — The Odessa Police Department has released new details following the semi-truck gas spill on Monday that caused a closure from South Grandview Ave. to John Ben Sheppard Hwy on I-20.
According to a news release from OPD, it says that a semi-truck, driven by 45-year-old Juan De La Cruz, had its left tire blowout, causing the truck to lose control and jack-knife.
Cruz was cited for no commercial driver's license on hand.
OPD says that no injuries were reported.
