MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas — A Midland man is dead after being hit by a car Friday night.
According to DPS, Arturo Meza was crossing from east to west at the intersection of FM 715 and CR 120 just after 7:30 p.m.
At the same time a teenager was traveling north on FM 715.
DPS says Meza failed to yield right of way, causing the driver to strike him.
Meza was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital in critical condition and later taken to Lubbock Covenant Hospital.
He later succumbed to his injuries on Nov. 6.
At this time there is no other information available and the investigation is still underway.
