MIDLAND, Texas — On Wednesday, May 8, a semi-truck reportedly struck a hydrant on West Florida Avenue and South Big Spring Street causing a closure to lanes on Big Spring Street, according to the City of Midland.
TXDOT will limit traffic to one lane each way on Big Spring Street.
The repairs are expected to take at least a day.
As for the nearby businesses from New Jersey Avenue and California Avenue, expect to be without water while repairs are being made.
Expect delays in the area and caution is advised around the crews and equipment that will be working on the roadway.
