Update: High-speed chase ends in wreck in Odessa

The driver of a silver Chevy Traverse evaded officers after sending them on a chase that lasted 21 minutes.

ODESSA, Texas — On Saturday, the Odessa Police Department was called in to assist the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Ector County Sheriff's Office with a subject who sent the agencies on a high-speed chase after he was observed driving erratically at Grant and Kermit Hwy.

Ramon Rosales, driver of a silver Chevy Traverse evaded the officer but was later located by DPS near Loop 338 and Hwy 385. 

After evading the DPS, ECSO, and OPD, Rosales crashed into a tree in the 3100 block of Dixie. 

Rosales was charged with evading in a motor vehicle and evading on foot due to a previous conviction.
