Chief Meteorologist Jordan Frazier sat down with Amber Hluchan with the National Weather Service in Midland to discuss the Skywarn Spotter Training.

MIDLAND, Texas — Chief Meteorologist Jordan Frazier sat down with Amber Hluchan, the Warning Coordination Meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Midland, to discuss the Skywarn Spotter Training.

Skywarn is a volunteer program with almost 290,000 trained severe weather spotters. These volunteers help keep their local communities safe by providing timely and accurate reports of severe weather to the National Weather Service.
