TEXAS, USA — Here's a unique activity for late-elementary aged kids while they're home from school.
The National Hurricane Center will be hosting two webinars all about hurricanes that are only open to Texas students in 4th, 5th, or 6th grade.
Hurricanes at Home will focus on the job of a meteorologist, weather hazards associated with hurricanes, and how meteorologists at the National Hurricane Center get you hurricane information during hurricane season.
There is a 500 student limit in each webinar, so make sure to register soon!
The first webinar will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7. The second will also be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 9.
