Faith Dominguez, the wife of Bingham, said this in response to Contreras being released:
"While we laid my kids daddy to rest the kid who hit him was getting out of jail. He got to see his family again. Me and my kids will never get to see Alex again. I’ll never understand how that kid can walk free after he destroyed my family My husband didn’t deserve what happened to him." - Faith Dominguez
