ODESSA, Texas — An Odessa woman is in jail after attempting to solicit someone to shoot her boyfriend.
Krissie Marie Blevins, 33, has been charged with solicitation of murder.
Investigators initially received a complaint that Blevins had asked her husband to kill her boyfriend in exchange for a relationship with her.
An arrest affidavit obtained by NewsWest 9 stated that the complainant told police he had been separated from Blevins for a few months.
However around the end of January to the beginning of February Blevins had contacted him, saying her boyfriend had hit her and yelled at her. She told her husband he needed to beat the boyfriend "to a bloody pulp and to send her pictures".
The man took pictures of this conversation, but was again verbally asked by Blevins to kill her boyfriend at a later date.
He also told police Blevins said she had connections and that if he didn't kill the boyfriend she would get someone else to do it instead.
After further investigation, OPD obtained an arrest warrant for Blevins. She was arrested on March 12.
