ODESSA, Texas — NewsWest 9 has obtained the arrest affidavit for 24-year-old Nadia Trevino, who has been charged with supplying alcohol to a minor, 18-year-old Jose Contreras.
The affidavit states that the night before, Saturday, Oct. 26, Trevino purchased alcohol from a Walmart in Odessa. Then, Trevino allowed Contreras to drink the alcohol. All this information was learned through video footage and Trevino's admission.
According to a previous affidavit, Contreras admitted that he was drunk as he was driving during a hit-and-run crash on Sunday, Oct. 27, at 1:35 a.m. that ultimately took the life of Alex Bingham.
Based on all the information presented in the case, Trevino was officially charged with furnishing alcohol to a minor.
Trevino was booked on a $15,000 surety bond, but has since bonded out, according to Ector County jail records.
