Hobbs man dead after rollover crash early Thursday morning

HOBBS, N.M. — A man is now dead after a single rollover crash just south of Hobbs on Thursday morning.

According to the release, the New Mexico State Police responded to the crash on Nadine Rd., which is south of Hobbs.

Thirty-eight-year-old Carlos A. Camacho-Rosas of Hobbs was driving a 2003 Ford Ranger westbound on Nadine Rd. near the Texas state line.

The truck left the roadway and rolled over, causing Camacho-Rosas to be ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The crash is under investigation by NMSP and NewsWest 9 will continue to update this article if more information is provided.
